This last Sunday Talan had his first experience in nursery at church. He was so good! At first he was a bit cautious but wasn't scared one bit. John and I stayed in the room for a bit right at first but left one at a time and Talan was totally fine!
There was a little girl that was really upset and Talan walked over and put his hand on her shoulder, looking at her with a concerned look on his face. She quickly became his friend.
One little boy was pretending to be an alligator during music time as they were singing about one, and started to crawl towards Talan growling. I though Talan might get nervous about it, but he did great.
They had snack time (pretzels, cheese and popcorn), play time and music time. They were just going to do a project when Talan got tired.
We kept checking back in but Talan did great and didn't need us there until very close to the end where he was tired and wanted to go with us. He didn't fuss, but he didn't want to be left behind. He totally crashed on the way home...I guess nursery tired him out.
