Our latest trip to the doctor

Talan has his first ear infection. He was grabbing, scratching and hitting the right side of his head all around his ear. He was also very cranky, getting upset while nursing and not sleeping well at all. It went on for 2 days so we called the doctor. John took him to the doctor and I went to work, definitely a switch in roles for us.
John got Talan to the doctors office, on time and in one piece, and was the proud papa that we all know him to be. The doctor was trying to look into Talans ears and she couldn't hold his head still. She kept saying how strong he was! I think it was also a little bit of my stubborness rearing it's ugly head. John had to help hold his head while she cleaned out and examined his ears.
John then had to go get a perscription for an antibiotic which Talan tolerated the first few times, but has grown to hate. He has to take it 2 times a day for approximately 10 days. We're only on the second day and it's already a fight to get him to take it.

I almost forgot...Talan was 17 lbs 9 oz. and 28 1/2 inches long.
