Talan got a new set of wheels...Don't ask me why everything is spiderman lately. It was this or Dora the Explorer. Luckily Talan seems to like spiderman so it's all good. Red is still his favorite color which may be an indicator to why he likes spiderman...
He couldn't ride it the first day because we had to charge the battery for 10 hours. He wanted it to go so badly. He kept getting on it and pushing it to get it to move. It didn't seem to matter that it was hard to move since it is always in gear...I think he likes a challenge.
We took the fourwheeler to Grandma & Grandpas house last night so Talan could try it for the first time in their big backyard. It didn't do too well on the grass...maybe once it's mowed it will do better. We ended up going out on the sidewalk. Talan kept pushing the button that makes it go (there's one that makes a horn noise too) repetitively which made it jump a little every time he did. He figured out that you have to hold down the button to go after John showed him once.
He got the hang of the throttle and the steering really quickly. We kept thinking he was going to go off the sidewalk into a car or the street or grass, but he would turn the handlebars just in time. It was very impressive for a 15 month old!!
He would have taken the four wheeler with him to bed if he could have...
