All the pictures above are from the 4th of July. Talans outfit says "Happy 4th of July" and his bib says "Little Firecracker", which fits his personality perfectly.
Today we went to Talans Great Grandparents house for a big family barbeque. It ended up being pretty windy, so it wasn't much of an outdoor thing as it usually is. It was a lot of fun though. Everyone always loves to see Talan and he loves to see people. I always call him a "people-watcher" because he is totally fascinated by people, new or familiar.
Talan is back on antibiotics because his ear infection is back. It turns out that the last antibiotics didn't work completely and now he has to take another treatment of a different kind of antibiotics. Also, he is finally going to get a tooth. His gums have been swollen and very sensitive. Poor baby hasn't been feeling well at all the last few days. He doesn't sleep well when he has an ear infection, and he's a bit crabby from the tooth. He is being very cuddly and if you know him, you'll know that he isn't a snuggly baby. We have to go back to the doctor in 10 days to make sure that the ear infection has cleared up...cross your fingers...
