Talan started his swimming lessons again this year. He had been doing them for a week and then started to complain about his ears. We thought he just had sensitive ears (he had tubes and has never wanted water in his ears since). It turns out he got swimmers ear (an outer ear infection) AND an inner ear infection in the same ear. He has to have drops in his ears 3 times a day and antibiotics for 10 days. The doctor said it was one of the worst she has seen. Poor thing, he was in a LOT of pain until we finally got it under control with meds. Plus he missed his last/second week of lessons.
